Have this book on the shelf, and needed a little nudge to read it. I cried like a newborn baby when I read The Kite Runner. Puffy red eyes the next day. It was not pretty. Let’s make Terri cry!
There’s quite a bit of buzz going on about THE SHACK. Has anyone read it? Does it live up to the hype, or is it nothing more than a spiritual “Bridges of Madison County?”

I’ve read that one and it is completely different from the Kite Runner, but ABSOLUTELY lives up to it. I couldn’t put it down and read it in a day.
My suggestion for next month: The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
