Rules of Engagement

Here’s how I’d like to set this out. (Open for change, suggestions welcome!)

1. On the first of each month I’ll post a book for anyone who is interested to read. Books are chosen by me, but I’m open for book suggestions. This page will be called The Monthly Book Page. My goal is to choose books that are out in paperback so that they are less expensive for those who want to buy them, and available in the library for those who don’t want to buy theme.

2. Read the book for the month at your own pace.

3. Find a recipe for food or beverage (or a specific wine suggestion) that you think would accompany the book well.

4. When you are ready, be it during the month of that book or later on, post your comment and your food or beverage on the comment page that goes with the specific Monthly Book Page. I would prefer that if you are going to comment on a book, you also offer a recipe or wine suggestion. It’s a potluck, after all!

5. After you’ve posted your recipe or wine suggestion, I’ll categorize it over in the right column.
